He received his actor's training at Shakespeare & Co in Lenox, Ma and NY's American Globe Theatre. Previous regional stage credits include roles in The Winter's Tale (Autolycus) and Romeo & Juliet at Shakespeare & Co. New York Stage credits include Off-Off-Broadway productions of A Midsummer Night's Dream (Bottom), As You Like it (Frederick/Martext/Lord/2 Brother), I Hate Hamlet Gary Peter Lefkowitz), Monster Island (Joel Singer), and The Contrast (Jessamy). He provided various voices for the video game Grand Theft Auto III. In 2005 he was elected to the executive board of New York's Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art, where among other projects, he curated the popular "Saturday Morning: Art and Artifacts from a Golden Age of Television" and organized the lecture event/series "1986: The Year That Changed Comics.
