Linsay Rousseau is an actor, voice-over artist and motion capture performer. She is best known as the voice of Elita-1 in Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy (2020) and for her extensive work in video games, including the female player in Fallout 76 (2018), Ylva in Vainglory (2014) and numerous voices in Rage 2 (2019), NBA 2K20 (2019), Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft (2014) and Wasteland 3 (2020).

Her masters thesis for the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism, Frontline: Rape in the Fields (2013), went on to be produced by PBS Frontline, the Center for Investigative Reporting and Univision. The documentary has won the Alfred I. duPont-Colombia Award, John F. Kennedy Journalism Award, Public Radio News Directors Award and was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Investigative Journalism. Prior to attending Berkeley, she served as a public affairs sergeant and combat photographer for the U. S.

She spent several decades performing on stage before making the transition to voice-over and on-camera work. The child of two National Park Rangers, she grew up all over the country. Her brother, Bryant Burnett, is a stuntman and stunt rigger. She has trained with Larry Moss and at Steppenwolf, the Berkeley Repertory School of Theatre, Studio A. C. T. at the American Conservatory Theater, The Groundlings, The Second City, Impro Studio and the Rachael Adler Studio. She has extensive training in hand-to-hand combat, martial arts, HEMA, firearms, military tactics, and a variety of weapons systems. She is also an accomplished musician and classically trained singer. While Linsay has been a performer her entire life, she took a few detours along the way. She is a former journalist and was one of four Carnegie Fellows chosen to work with the Brian Ross Investigative Reporting Unit at ABC News in New York and worked as an associate producer, reporter, researcher and production associate for PBS Frontline.
