As a seasoned PR and events executive with 16 years of agency, studio, publicity, brand/event marketing, project management, and legal affairs experience, Latashia DeVeaux has competently delivered ongoing consulting and public relations to client fields including corporate, digital/technology, consumer brands, packaged goods, nonprofit, wine & spirits, health & wellness; and the entertainment industry, including music, television, and film. Upon completed her undergraduate degree, Latashia spearheaded operations at the Los Angeles based DeVeaux Agency and its parent company, DeVeauxted Enterprises, Inc. , where she oversaw an ever-expanding list of clients. She was responsible for securing sponsorship, financial and business transactions, and media outreach and publicity logistics for the agency's non-profit, television, theater and home video clients. Other areas of interest to note of DeVeaux's career are two years at Mind Your Music where she served as Music Coordinator/Supervisor on two feature film soundtracks for Walt Disney's Holes and Sony Picture's Laurel Canyon. She also provided extensive research and publicity for the book launch of Hip Kid Hop, rap-a-long children's book series encouraging and teaching children how to read and rap, where she enlisted the participation of rap artists: LL Cool J, Missy Elliot, Shaggy and Doug E. She also executive produced and garnered celebrity support on behalf of the Black AIDS Institute, Magic Johnson Foundation and Kaiser Foundation for the Greater Than AIDS and Test 1 Million campaigns. At the same time, Latashia co-produced the United States Tennis Association's annual summer event to support the organization's diversity initiative, which is attended by key influencers and tastemakers entertainment, corporate and political arenas.
