Kim Sønderholm height - How tall is Kim Sønderholm?

Having been tired of his looks for years, Sønderholm spend most of 2012 on a strict diet and training scheme resulting in him losing over 60 pounds over the course of the year. "I have been lifting weights on and off for years, but never anything this regularly and planned out" says Sønderholm, "It's taken quite a bit of restraint and demanded me taking a lot of control in the process, but I'm really happy I finally got around to do something about it. I'm finally happy with the way I look now, and can only wish I got around to it at an earlier place in time." [November 2012]

During filming of Tour de Force (2010), in the scene where Frank, played by Kim Sønderholm, is hit over the head with a bottle, his expression of pain is quite real as the fake bottle turned out to be a lot harder than it was supposed to be. Sønderholm actually blacked out for a few seconds before regaining his conscience and continued acting. This clip is used in the actual film as strongly insisted by Sønderholm.

Sønderholm used bits and pieces from the segment "Invasion of Privacy" (of which he directed himself) from The Horror Vault 2 (2009) in a music video competing at the Nine Inch Nails announced online music video festival "Ghosts" in march 2008. The used parts in the music video were however censored, while the full version of the segment released in The Horror Vault 2 (2009) was released in the uncut version.

The film has later won the Audience Award for Best Film at The Weekend Of Fear Film Festival in 2006 and nominated for Best Foreign Film at a couple of other film festivals.

In 2006 he directed his first short film Mental Distortion (2007) (which was released as part of The Horror Vault Vol.

In 2004 he produced and starred in the feature film Brutal Incasso (2005) that we wrote back in theatreschool.

After graduation in 2001 he moved to Copenhagen, where he was soon offered a minor role in the blockbuster, Klatretøsen (2002) ("Catch That Girl"), and since then things have quickly taken off.

[January 2000] Committed to Skejby sygehus (hospital) outside Aarhus, Denmark with a fatal blood poising that would have killed him had he been committed one day later. After undergoing dialysis and having all blood changed for weeks and being under careful observation for months, he was finally declared healthy in June 2000. Ironically enough, this was where his acting career started taking shape for real.

Already at the age of 12, Kim was familiar with the media business. He was started as a weekly co-host at a local radio station in his hometown, Aarhus in Denmark. Already after a few shows he was given his own DJ program each week. At a few occasions Kim also went on-air on the National Danish Radio. During this time, he also starred in several commercials on both radio and television. As the local radio station had to close, he went on to writing for a couple of magazines, both paper and Internet based, in most cases film-related. Since then starring in quite a few underground short films before finally being accepted to theatreschool in 1998, where, during his stay, he and a fellow student wrote manuscripts for no less than three feature films.

Besides being a big fan of horror/slasher films, his favorite films include: Natural Born Killers (1994), Lost Highway (1997), Mulholland Dr. (2001), Se7en (1995), The Crow (1994), American History X (1998), Requiem for a Dream (2000), The Machinist (2004).He is also a great fan of Trent Reznor (aka Nine Inch Nails) and David Bowie.
