K. S. Haddock was born in Seattle and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. After gaining a bachelor's in Psychology from U. C. Irvine, he moved back to San Francisco to pursue a writing career. He published the Gen-X novel, The Patricidal Bedside Companion, in 1994 through St. Martin's Press. To support himself and his writing, music and acting pursuits, he worked in advertising as an award winning copy writer before becoming a digital artist.
