Jason began acting at the age of 3 years old when he played The Littlest Prince in a production of The King & I at The Westport Playhouse in St. Louis, Missouri. After growing up in a theatre family (his father is actor John Contini) Jason decided to pursue acting in film having done a number of low budget horror films and dramas before being cast in the lead role of Julian the vampire hunter in Wyatt Weed's SHADOWLAND. . Jason is a proud member of SAG-Aftra and earned his Actor's Equity (AEA) card doing three consecutive years of children's theatre with The Imaginary Theatre Company, the touring arm of The St. Louis Repertory Theatre. He also worked with Avalon Theatre Company, Insight Theatre, Upstream Theatre, St. Louis Actor's Studio, Bluff City Theatre in Hannibal, MO, Dramatic License, Bankside Repertory Theatre, and Stages St. Louis. In 2008 Jason moved to Los Angeles where he shot the romantic comedy THE ANNIVERSARY and the war film KHYBER. Back in St. Louis, Jason co-founded Archlight Studios with longtime friend and co-writer Nicholas J. Hearne.

2005

Jason got his Equity card by doing three seasons of touring children's theatre with The Imaginary Theatre Company from 2005 - 2008. ITC is the young audiences touring division of The St. Louis Repertory Theatre.
