With business partner Marko Fuchs, George set up in London the feature film and TV commercials production company, Split Second Films. Through Split Second Films, George and Marko, have 4 feature and 3 short scripts in development, while they have recently produced a series of test commercials. [November 2006]

George was born in Athens, Greece, and studied Industrial Management (BSc), Moving Image & Fiction Film Production (MA), and Narratology & Cognitive Narrative Theory (PhD). His monograph "Screenplay and Narrative Theory" is published by Lexington Books, an imprint of Rowman & Littlefield. He has been involved in the production of TV commercials, TV dramas and feature films in various roles in a career that spans more than 16 years. In 2005, he co-founded Split Second Film Productions in London, which he left in 2008 to pursue freelance film production opportunities. He has written, produced and directed short films - his most recent short film is "Autonomous," which is currently being developed into a feature film. He has been visiting lecturer at the Central Film School London, the University of Birmingham and the University of Reading.
