Sting then joined Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA/later renamed Impact Wrestling in 2017) in 2003.


Steve was also the only wrestler from WCW who never worked for WWE until 2014 when he made his WWE debut at the Survivor Series. Sting rivals WCW names like Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair in working for three major North American wrestling promotions including WCW, TNA and WWE.

After making his WWE debut in 2014, Sting embarked on a rivalry with Triple H and the heel stable known as The Authority. Sting's feud with The Authority ended at WrestleMania 31 in a match against Triple H.


He returned to wrestle full-time in TNA in 2006 and left in 2014.
