A native of Virginia, Robert showed an interest in Acting as a child. While attending college at Southeastern Oklahoma State University, he studied under Dennis Letts, and others. After college, Robert joined the military and continued to pursue acting. At Fort Bragg in North Carolina, he received his first call to do a small bit on Dawson's Creek. Soon after this he found himself stationed in Iraq for a year during some of the heaviest fighting of the conflict. As of April 2008, Robert was living near the Mojave Desert in California, commuting to New York City as a Charter and Tour Helicopter Pilot. He actively seeks involvement in military-related film works and continues to pursue flying in both helicopters and airplanes. He has also been heavily involved in Charities such as the "Semper Fi" Injured Marines Fund, and the Susan G. Komen "For the Cure" Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Since November, Robert has completed in five Triathlons to help raise funds for the Semper Fi Fund, and attended other events for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
