Peter Fragiskatos MP (born April 30, 1981) is a Canadian academic and Liberal Party of Canada politician, who was elected to represent the riding of London North Centre in the House of Commons of Canada in the 2015 federal election. During the 42nd Canadian Parliament Fragiskatos sponsored one private member bill, C-242 titled An Act to amend the Criminal Code (inflicting torture) which sought to create a new offence within the Criminal Code called "inflicting torture". The bill reached second reading and was studied by the Committee on Justice and Human Rights but not proceeded with as it was found to overlap with existing provisions.
