1990

Over the years, since entering the decade of the 1990's and the rise of movie rentals, his father decided to protect themselves from the inevitable competition to the film industry and hence was born Boogie Video Club, where with his short age, Boogie became the head running the VHS movie rental business for eight years. All this short brief just wanted to highlight the tie Boogie have in the two artistic fields of photography and cinematography, because since childhood he has been linked and surrounded by movies and photos. At the age of 13, he took his first film related lessons in Santo Domingo, capital city of the country, which was based on concepts of editing, when he was the only child among the participants and was a lot of learning to expand his knowledge with such a young age. When turned 14 years old, granted access to a JVC Professional VHS camera and decided to make a short film with a bunch of children in the neighborhood where he lived; the film was called "La Selva Maldita" and was edited in-camera and the gunfire sound effects were applied by placing toys next to the camera microphone and the fake blood was created with ketchup. It had a cast of seven children acting within a small forest. In short, it was a remarkable and inspiring adventure and strengthens his early love for cinema and filmmaking. Unfortunately the original VHS disappeared and can only be remembered by the joy they lived in. In his path becoming an adult he passed through being a computer technician, graphic designer, print manager, advertiser and photographer, acquiring vastly experience and preparation as a freelancer in each career in Boogietek Graphic Workshop.
