Jessica Lewis, graduated in January 2012 from the Gallatin School for Individualized Study at New York University, concentrating in Interdisciplinary Arts Studies Through a Cinematic Lens (Summa Cum Laude, Dean's Honor Roll, Multiple Merit Scholarships). Jessica began dancing when she was 2 years old, and shortly after began singing and acting all she could. She began to choreograph her own work when she was just 5 years old, under the supervision and mentorship of Andrew Jannetti (of Andrew Jannetti and Dancers), and has been a featured choreographer in many major dance festivals throughout the New York area. She has been studying acting, dance, choreography, music, voice, music composition, film, and writing, since a very young age in New York City, where she has lived her whole life. She attended LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and the Performing Arts, from where she graduated with National Honors as a vocal major (focusing on jazz and classical music). As an actress, Jessica has been featured in many short films and commercials in New York City. She continues to work as an actress actively. She also has been featured in many theater productions throughout the New York City area. Jessica has studied with the Joffrey Ballet School, Ellen Robbins, Dancewave Inc. , Alvin Aliey School of Dance, The Martha Graham Studio, Merce Cunningham Studio, Jessica Nicoll, Diane Jacobowitz, Jeanette Stoner, Jay T. Jenkins, Tara Summerville, Jeanette Panetta, Anabella Lenzu, and Kathy Posin. In music, she has been a featured vocalist with the Thelonious Monk Institute's in school Jazz Ensembles, as well as multiple Big Bands. Jessica has been working with musicians, such as guitarist/composer Adam Caine, on developing cross-genre, and interdisciplinary works. She has been a junior member, and now a member, of Andrew Jannetti & Dancers, since she was thirteen, and is still the youngest member of Andrew Jannetti & Dancers.
