2017

On November 9, 2017, it was announced that Page was cast in the main role of Vanya Hargreeves in the Netflix series The Umbrella Academy, which was renewed for a second season in April 2019. The same month, she and co-host Ian Daniel started filming There's Something in the Water, a documentary about environmental racism. The film premiered at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival, and was released as a Netflix documentary on March 27, 2020.

On November 10, 2017, Page alleged that filmmaker Brett Ratner outed her as gay on the set of X-Men: The Last Stand, when she was 18 years old, nearly a decade before she came out publicly.
