In 2017, Bunga tried her luck back at the Puteri Indonesia contest and was chosen to represent the province of Puteri Indonesia DKI Jakarta - 5 . According to Bunga, following Puteri Indonesia is her dream since the first and Bunga had hesitated because I only graduated Senior High School, but the spirit back after seeing the many support to try Puteri Indonesia. In addition through this event Puteri Indonesia Bunga think to be an appropriate event to learn a lot of things outside of formal education.

On March 31, 2017 she also crowned Puteri Indonesia 2017 and now she will compete at Miss Universe 2017 pageant.

Bunga represented Indonesia at Miss Universe 2017. She is one of favorite contestants in Miss Universe 2017 but failed to place in the semifinals, ending Indonesia’s four year streak of consecutive placements in Miss Universe, from 2013 through 2016.
