On 14 September 2016, Beri re-signed with the Giants for the 2017 season. In December 2017, he was re-confirmed by the Giants as a signing for the 2018 season. He returned to the Giants for the 2019 season.


In November 2014, Beri recommitted to the Giants for the 2015 season. In 15 games for the Giants in 2015, he averaged 3.0 points and 1.7 rebounds per game. In October 2015, he re-signed with the Giants for the 2016 season. He appeared in all 18 games for the Giants in 2016, averaging career-high numbers with 4.7 points and 2.6 rebounds per game.


Born in Timaru, New Zealand, Beri first attended Roncalli College before moving to Nelson College in 2007. He went on to make his debut for the Nelson Giants that same year and played a sparing role for the team until 2012 when he finally got his chance to shine. On 14 April 2012, Beri was having a career-best game with 12 points and 5 rebounds in 18 minutes of action against the Manawatu Jets before he jumped to block a Josh Pace shot late in the third quarter and his left leg folded under him when he landed. Consequently, he damaged the anterior cruciate ligament, the medial collateral ligament, and the patellar tendon, which ruled him out for the rest of the 2012 season and the entire 2013 season. Beri returned to the Giants squad for the 2014 season and went on to average 2.3 points and 2.1 rebounds in 11 games.
