Ashley Rindsberg is a South African-born American writer best known for his book of short fiction, Tel Aviv Stories (2011), as well as for journalism and commentary for publications such as The Huffington Post, The Daily Beast, and Ynet. Rindsberg also led the Internet Bookmobile program for the Internet Archive, traveling to Egypt in 2003 to create a mobile digital printing unit for the Bibliotheca Alexandrina that could supply books for programs aimed at improving literacy among Egyptian children.

In 2011 Rindsberg's collection of fiction, Tel Aviv Stories, was published by Midnight Oil Publishing.

In 2003, Rindsberg began working at the Internet Archive under web pioneer Brewster Kahle, developing the Internet Bookmobile, "a mobile digital library capable of downloading public domain books from the Internet via satellite and printing them anytime, anywhere, for anyone." As head of the Internet Bookmobile project, Rindsberg spoke at Stanford University on "Public Access to Publishing." In 2003, Rindsberg traveled to Egypt to oversee the creation of two mobile and one stationary Internet Bookmobile units for the Library of Alexandria.
